What we offer
In an effort to foster collaborative and interdisciplinary microbiome research, the cMEDA offers a variety of supports for students and scholars.
Faculty principal investigators can access grant funding for pilot studies, as well as support in competing for university, national and international grants for microbiome research.
To encourage students to pursue microbiome research, the cMEDA organizes a summer scholarship program. A Student Interest Group also provides an avenue for early stage researchers to connect and collaborate.
The Microbiome Forum has been a periodic series of presentations from local cMEDA investigators and external microbiome scientists. cMEDA also offers an annual Technology Forum featuring presentations by local researchers.
